Nairobi national park

The World's only wildlife heaven within a capital city. This rare gem is steeped in history from nomadic Maasai who used it to feed their cattle and colonial British aristocracy who had Sunday picnics under favourite trees to world famous symbolic moments such as the iconic rhino horn and ivory cremation.

But the residents who call this park home, the wildlife, have seen the city stretch its limbs into wilderness areas and an increasing degree of conflict with humans. Yet the park defies these threats and provides a breath taking refuge for big cats, endangered rhinos and a myriad of other animals and plants.
